Business and Investor migration
There has been strong demand for NSW nomination for Business, Innovation and Investment Program (BIIP) visas.  Slight delays in processing and responding may therefore be experienced.  If your visa, or the documents you will use for your visa application, will soon expire, please contact us.
 
If you are planning on submitting an application please see some key information on the process below:  •    You should review the documents required for your application before applying on our Guide to supporting documents website. 
 
•    You must be ready to make payment at the time of submitting your application. 
 
•    The total size of your supporting documents must be less than 35 MB. 

 Closing to applications – Business Talent visa (subclass 132)   Due to forthcoming changes in the BIIP commencing 1 July 2021, NSW will close to new applications for the Business Talent visa (subclass 132) on Friday 16 April 2021.   NSW is unable to to nominate candidates to apply for this visa after Monday 26 April 2021 and we urge that any application be made with all the required documentation to prevent delays in processing.

  COVID-19 concessions – Investor visa (subclass 188B)  If you intend to apply for the Business Innovation and Investment visa (subclass 888) – Investor stream, under the COVID-19 concession, you must ensure that you satisfy Home Affairs’ requirements for the concessions before withdrawing from or cancelling your designated investment.  If you have withdrawn from or cancelled your designated investment under the COVID-19 concessions offered by Home Affairs, you can then apply for NSW nomination.  Please note that we will not assess that you are eligible for the concession and you will need to demonstrate this to Home Affairs.  The concession period commences from 1 February 2020 and information on these is published on the Department of Home Affairs Business Innovation and Investment (permanent) visa (subclass 888) – Investor stream web page.
